Hotel Central - Avignon

Great hotel with great amenities like air conditioning, 24-hour reception, and free wi-fi. The staff even helped me with dining recommendations on my first visit. I highly recommend checking it out, and I'll be back for my next city trip.

The rooftop room provided a great view, and the spacious bathroom added to our comfort. Daily cleaning services ensured everything was tidy and fresh throughout our stay.

Had a relaxing stay for one night, glad I've chosen it. The staff were extremely accommodating and fairly friendly and the restaurant was nice! The location was marvellous and comfortable, you can visit Cci de Vaucluse by walking. Was in a shopping area and near restaurants and cafes.

the location is good, but if you are travelling by car, first drive to the car park and then to the hotel. The traffic situation is a bit chaotic.

My room was clean and modern, but it was a bit cramped.

Public parking garage about 500 meters away. With a lot of luggage and children it was a bit complicated, but feasible ;) furthermore parking is quite expensive.

Not a real shower, but standing in the bathtub. Quite dangerous for older people. Our room was on the first floor. It could only be reached via a winding staircase (heavy suitcases!). no lift!

The Central is centrally located, providing easy access to the train station and major attractions like the Palais des Papes. The room was a spacious superior room, clean with excellent daily housekeeping, and the air conditioning worked efficiently, keeping it comfortable during hot weather.

As the name suggests, this hotel is right in the centre of Avignon. It was the cheapest hotel we found in the centre of town.

It was the cheapest hotel we found in the centre of town so we were expecting it to he quite basic. It was. The room was very small and pretty dusty. We booked a shared bathroom but regretted it. There was only one shower and one toilet for all the rooms. We often had long waits to use them. Also they were quite dirty and down two floors from our room. The staff were very nice though and let me use a bathroom in another free room. There was a sink and a fan in the room.

This was a clean basic hotel which was perfect for two nights, any longer may have been a bit harder as the room was quite small. Has a very pleasant outside courtyard area with chairs/tables where you can relax and have breakfast. If you arrive at the new Avignon tgv station there is a 10 minute ride on a shutte bus to take you to the Central Station (Gare sncf). From the central station cross the road to Porte de la Republique and walk downtown about 200m to the hotel on the right hand side by a Tourism Information Site.

I was quite shocked when the juice machine was not working during breakfast-what a letdown! It was unacceptable that i had to wait outside my room for access while staff fumbled about. After all, a little complimentary gesture would've been nice after all that, but apparently that's too much to expect!

Nothing, its terible.

We did not like anything. We came on time but the hotel wa so terible that we slept only one night instead of two, and left Hotel in the morning. We paid 63,90 eur for one night but Hotel Central charged us for another 19,90 eur without our knowledge (we suppose becouse we left). We blame Booked.net, becouse in the terms nothing is said about second night. We expect that Booked.net will take care of stopping the charge of 19,90 eur on my MasterCard. We recomend that you take off the list this hotel.

Right in the centre of the wonderful city of Avinon. Hotel rooms tiny bathroom really tiny. No lift and lots of stairs, not easy to negotiate with heavy bag. Very much a 2 star experience , though staff very friendly, new decor would help.
